I’ve used it for about a few weeks now, and it’s been worth it for me. Most nights I’m saving a couple bucks here and there, maybe around $5 to $10 depending on the place, so it adds up quick.

"Pickup order was honestly smooth"
I used Grubhub to place a pickup order from a Thai spot near me, it was about as painless as these things can get. The app was easy to figure out, the pickup time looked accurate, and I didn’t have to tap around for a million years just to place the order.
When I got there, the food was basically ready, aside from maybe a 3-minute wait, which felt like nothing. The order was right, nothing was missing, and the receipt matched what I paid, so no surprise mystery charges jumping out at me.
I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because the fees still feel a little ridiculous for pickup, like come on, I’m doing half the work here. But overall, it went smoothly, the food was ready, and I’d use it again.
"Super Easy to Find Food Anytime"
I’ve had a really good experience using Grubhub because it actually shows plenty of restaurants near me. Even late at night, I can usually find something that’s still open, which makes the whole process so much easier. Ordering is simple and way less of a hassle than trying to figure it all out on my own

"Dinner showed up fresh and hassle-free"
I ordered dinner through Grubhub and, it was better than I expected. The fries were still warm, the burger wasn’t soggy, and the drink actually arrived without spilling everywhere, which hasn’t always been my experience with other delivery apps. Everything tasted fresh, almost like it had just come out of the kitchen. Overall, it was a really solid experience and it made me feel like I can trust them with future orders. I’d definitely use Grubhub again.
"Smooth ride overall"
The driver showed up on time and everything went smoothly. Nothing to complain about really, maybe not the most memorable ride, but it did exactly what I needed and I had no issues.
"Works fine, but the total can sneak up on you"
I’ve used Grubhub a bunch and, for the most part, my food shows up fine and the app does what I need it to do. My main issue is the pricing. I’m careful about what I spend, so it’s frustrating when the delivery fee, service fee, and extra charges don’t really hit until the end. The total can jump more than I expected, and at that point I’m already halfway through placing the order. I just wish they showed the full real cost earlier so I could decide upfront if it’s worth it

Was happy to see they deliver to my area now. I can finally get food brought out here too, which is super handy when I don’t feel like going anywhere.

"Grubhub actually followed up"
My order showed up missing a side from the restuarant, but Grubhub actually took care of it fast. They made it right without a whole hassle, which was nice. Good to see they dont just ignore stuff and actually hold their partners accountable

"Really smooth delivery"
My grubhub driver was great today. Usually I kind of assume the food will just get dropped wherever, but he actually texted when he was close, followed the delivery note, and handed it to me nicely. The food was still warm too, which I always take as a good sign. It’s a simple thing, but I really appreciate when drivers are polite and pay attention. 5 stars from me.

"Nice to have fair tip options"
I’m happy that I can control the tip amount. It just feels more fair, both for me and for the drivers, which puts me in a better mood when I’m checking out.

"Support got it fixed, but took a while"
I had a problem with my order and, like most customer support stuff these days, it took longer than I wanted to hear back. They did eventually reply and get it sorted out, so it wasn’t a terrible experience or anything. Just one of those situations where everything feels slower than it should be.

I was feeling okay about the place at first, but then I saw the service charge and my mood changed a bit. I get that extra fees happen, but this one felt kinda too high and made the whole experience feel less worth it.

"Love the Helpful Updates"
I really appreciate how grubhub keeps me in the loop without me having to constantly open the app. I get a text when my order is confirmed, when it’s picked up, and when the driver is nearby, which makes the whole experience feel so much smoother. I had one order run late last week, but the update came through quickly, so I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. It’s a simple thing, but it makes a big difference and definitely gives me peace of mind.

I use Grubhub often, it’s nice that the app doesn’t make ordering harder than it needs to be. It opens quickly, the menus are easy enough to browse, and checkout is straightforward, which I appreciate because I really don’t have the patience for a clunky food app. The website works well too when I’m ordering from my laptop. Having my past orders and addresses already saved is actually very helpful and saves me from retyping the same stuff over and over. Tracking is usually clear, and I can still make changes before placing the order without getting lost. So, politely, I’m glad this app and site mostly just do what they’re supposed to do.
"Canceling Was Literally Easier Than Expected"
I had to cancel my order right after placing it because I accidentally picked the wrong address. I thought it was going to be a whole hassle, but it was literally easy. The refund showed up faster than I expected, and the app kept me updated the whole time. Support was fine too, no endless back and forth. It turned an annoying situation into something not so bad.
